This Gee Bee Model Z Thompson Trophy Racer was built by Warren Cross (hoil36@aol.com), QSAA President, of Las Vegas Nevada. Just look at those mountains in the background and that beautiful dry lake bed. This is the home of the annual QSAA Quarter Scale Meet in October. Warren is building a model of ALL Gee Bee racers for the Gee Bee Resturant in Las Vegas. Of course all are painted with Stits Lite. Superb work by a master craftsman. Besides being a great builder, Warren is the most prolific modeler I have ever met. He finishes at least a couple of Giant Scale models a year and This one is scratch built..
